I wear a lot of hats—mostly because I get bored easily if I'm not juggling three completely different industries at once.

Day to day, I split my time between the food world, design, and community arts. On the commercial side, I co-own Golden Flavor, Anemonae Design, and Tastemakers International Foods, handling everything from product development and manufacturing to marketing. When I'm not elbow-deep in food production, I serve as creative director for Big Car Collaborative—a 501(c)(3) non-profit focused on boosting the livability of Indianapolis and surrounding towns by bringing people together through hands-on art.

Alongside that, I’ve run an independent graphic design practice for over 15 years, primarily serving Midwest startups and non-profits. A lot of that work comes down to collaborative design: taking a room full of strong, conflicting stakeholder opinions and distilling them into a single, cohesive outcome. Turns out, holding a BFA in Painting and a BA in Philosophy from Indiana University Bloomington comes in surprisingly handy for that kind of mental gymnastics.

Before settling into this routine, I spent a past life as a nominally professional touring musician and partner/audio engineer in an Indianapolis studio. That era led to a lot of wild adventures—most of which aren't really fit for print here. I still write songs and record whenever I can catch a quiet moment, but these days, whether it's audio, food, or visual design, I'm just happiest when I'm building something from scratch.
